There’s just something about a well-executed collab that gets us going - whether it's one we come across out in the wild, one of our clients’ projects, or an organic opportunity to bring two like-minded brands together in a unique way. Strong collaborations bring out the best in creativity and community and get everyone a little bit pumped.
Bringing two brands together is an art. It’s not just about slapping a couple of logos on a product and calling it a day….it requires thoughtful consideration around value alignment and ensuring the partnership resonates with both audiences in a positive way. For us, successful collaborations are about weaving together the essence of each brand while still staying true to their individual identities. This often requires creative flexibility, but when the relationship is strong, the process feels effortless and organic.

Over the years we’ve developed a strong working relationship with Bounce, a boutique holiday stay in Noosaville. You could call it a hostel, but that would be doing it a disservice - Bounce is a premium offering in the category and is renowned for its elevated pool party vibes and stunning (and social media friendly) aesthetic - not to mention THAT pool.
Bounce have stocked a range of Noosa Vibe House merch in their reception area for over a year now, with guests loving our spin on the traditional tourist tee - extra fruity, pop pastel colours and on-trend garment cuts. While Bounce haven’t ever run their own merch program, they were interested in testing the appetite for an apparel line, so we suggested the concept of a collab range - leaning on our design and production expertise to deliver a premium offering at a competitive price point - leaning into our key insight that while their guests were on a tight budget, a moderately priced and fashion forward 'tourist tee' beyond what they could find in more mainstream outlets around Noosa would be a sure winner.
Working closely with Bounce on the concept, the brief to our designer was a dream - to capture the iconic poolside party vibes of the Bounce environment in a way that connected with both current and potential guests, while infusing it with some of the Noosa Vibe House energy - tropical flourishes and a pastel palette. Using playful illustrated versions of both Bounce and Noosa Vibe House fonts, we also coined the tagline ‘home of the good times’ which definitely lends itself to both Bounce and Noosa in general! From there we selected only the highest quality garments and printers to ensure a premium offering, complete with printed neck labels to further elevate the range.
The best collaborations leave people excited and maybe even a little surprised — but in the best way possible! The feedback on this collab was incredible, with solid and consistent sales and guests absolutely loving the design. We’ve already reprinted the range several times and the demand for this collab shows no signs of fading!
We love seeing how our work connects with not only our audience but that of another brand too, and it’s a great feeling to know that visitors to Bounce are leaving with a special slice of paradise reflecting not just where they stayed but also their love for Noosa and its unique energy.
