Noosa's Premium Golf Destination

A golf lover's paradise fusing retail, specialty golf gear, Trackman sims, a putting green and a bar - all in the heart of Noosa Junction.

PROJECT SCOPE

We were approached by friend and founder Cam Craven late in 2024 to help him with an ambitious and exciting project - to create a premium golf destination in the heart of Noosa. While Cam was keen to take the lead on the store fitout, the trackman simulators and specialty golf products, he needed to outsource a multitude of tasks including logo design and branding, digital build, content creation and the development of a branded merch offering to anchor the retail store. He also needed strategic guidance on retail and pricing strategy, staffing, and the best way to establish and nurture strong supplier relationships. This project encompassed our Brand Launch, Apparel Boost and Coaching and Mentoring services.

A BIG SWING ON A TIGHT TIMELINE

We knew from the start this was an expansive project with a lot of moving parts for Cam to manage. We also had a relatively short timeframe to turn around a project of this size and scope. We needed to move quickly while ensuring every element delivered the ‘premium’ essence which was critical to Cam and his vision. First up, the chosen name needed to convey the aspirational, premium identity which would define the brand identity. After landing on the punchy simplicity of Noosa Golf Co., we swiftly moved to securing the necessary IP and digital footprint, and shifted focus to branding and logo development. Engaging one of our trusted freelance designers, we developed a classy but playful logo suite with several logo variations to be used in different contexts across the physical space, digital ecosystem and merch range.

LOGO-DRIVEN MERCH AS A CUSTOMER CONNECTION POINT

With the brand suite locked in, we moved into the next phase – designing and producing a high quality Noosa Golf Co. apparel range which would anchor the retail offering for launch, offering Cam a high margin revenue stream to complement the sims and the more technical golf products in store. With such a strong logo suite in the mix, and existing in such an aspirational holiday location as Noosa, it made sense to lead with timeless logo driven pieces, creating not only the perfect souvenir of a visit to Noosa Golf Co (or Noosa itself) at at accessible price point, but also serving as a way to get the brand out and moving amongst the community. Simple, classic and striking, this logo collection will soon be followed with a range of more playful illustrated designs.

on launch, this range was a huge hit with customers, illustrating the power of our apparel boost service - our expertise and relationships streamlining a complex process and making branded apparel an accessible and advantageous play for business owners.

ELEVATING THE CONCEPT IN THE DIGITAL SPACE

In parallel with the merch strategy, our digital team were hard at work creating the digital ecosystem, finessing design elements and working on an architecture that could handle everything from the complexity of the golf gear through to an informative and easy to use booking platform for the sims. We wanted the website to convey a high quality feel while making customers feel welcome and supported as they explored and booked sim sessions.

In conjunction with this, we briefed our trusted content partner Walk and See Media to capture the visuals we would need for site and social. The vision for the content was to take the customer on a journey throughout the space, showcasing everything Noosa Golf Co. has to offer, while positioning the experience as both premium and accessible.

DRIVING HOME THE PROJECT THROUGH HIGH LEVEL COACHING

With so many elements in play, we also assisted Noosa Golf Co. in a Coaching and Mentoring capacity throughout the journey, assisting wherever our expertise was required - from brokering critical supplier relationships, to advising on retail stock inventory levels and pricing strategy. With our deep experience in guiding businesses across varied stages of maturity, Cam was able to use us as a high level sounding board to troubleshoot challenges, navigate potential future roadblocks and plan with a strategic growth mindset.
